While the original oil cooler from Saab is both decent in efficiency and placement; after 30 years they are often very worn and underperforming. The unit will eventually clog up and the cooling fins become damaged which will of course decrease the performance. It’s only a matter of time before they break and leak, either from the cooler itself or from the oil lines.
