H&R – the two letters stand for the company owners Werner Heine and Heinz Remmen. Since its founding in 1980 H&R has over the course of two decades developed into one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of sporty suspension systems.

One of the most important secrets for the succes of H&R is the transfer of technology from top-class international motorsports into the development of innovative suspension components for production cars.

For the fourth year straight H&R is the exclusive supplier for the DTM teams of Audi, Mercedes and Opel. All eight-cylinder racers in the V8 Star 2003 racing season were equipped with H&R springs and stabilizers. Besides its involvement in a number of other touring car, GT and Monoposto racing series H&R also develops suspension components for rallye sports, whose conditions place especially high dynamic loads on suspension elements. Since 2004 H&R is the Official Supplier of Peugeot Sport in the World Rallye Championship. Since 2003 H&R is a technology partner of Ford in the World Rallye Championship.
